Deliverable/Milestone

I. Needs assessment and scoping

Gain understanding of environment (systems) and functional processes.  Determine project goals, timeframes, budget and scope. 

High level Project Plan, detailing phases, overall cost estimates, timeframes, and anticipated goals.

II. Architecture and Planning

Client and Maxonic conduct a joint analysis and requirements review.  Technical and functional analysis of EDI system.

Functional Design Document, Technical Design Document, Detailed project plan, including: details of phases, resource requirements, timings, costs, gap analysis, hardware and software recommendations.

III. Development

Hardware and software installation.  Business process & map development, Unit testing.

Achievement of mapping and translation of all defined processes, and tests of each.

IV. Integration

EDI software integrated with ERP systems.

Successful integration of EDI with ERP system.

V. Quality Assurance

Testing of system on parallel system from end to end, to ensure smooth and accurate flow of all data.

System sign-off by all stakeholders.

VI. Production Migration

Cut over from parallel test system to production system

Successful cutover

VII. Support and Enhancement

Provide on-going support for system and enhance system as required.

Completed system
