Jobs: EDI Technical Lead

Plan and lead development activities for medium to large scale Electronic Data Exchange and E-Commerce projects; analyze user requirements; recommend, design, and develop processes to address complex, cross-functional problems and improve existing processes within customer budget and time constraints; map processes; perform EDI process implementation and integration; plan and direct project schedule; estimate time and manpower require for projects; monitor development process to ensure technical competence and timely completion at each stage of the development life cycle; provide technical guidance to developers; develop high and medium level design documentation for enhancements and/or new applications; analyze and resolve data communication and mapping problems; and coordinate testing activities.

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or related field of study and three years of experience OR bachelor’s degree and five years of progressive experience.

Skills: Three years of experience with EDI process design and development, process mapping using ANSI X12/XML/EDIFACT, process implementation and integration across diverse technical platforms, and management of medium and large-scale EDI projects with multi-functions and multi-departments. Gentran Integration Suite, Gentran Server for Unix with ECWB, and Cyclone Interchange.
